Your fitness is important for your health and well-being. There are many things you can do to improve your fitness, and we have some tips to help you get started.
1. Start by gradually adding more physical activity to your daily routine. If you’re not used to being active, start with 10 minutes a day and increase by 10 minutes each week.
2. Choose an activity that you enjoy and that you can do at a moderate intensity level. Moderate activities include walking, swimming, biking, and light gardening.
3. Make sure to warm up before you start your activity and cool down when you’re finished. Warming up helps your body prepare for physical activity and cooling down helps your body recover.
4. Get at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity each week. You can break this up into 30-minute sessions, five times a week.

Aerobic exercise: This is any type of activity that gets your heart rate up and makes you breathe harder. Examples include walking, running, biking, and swimming.
